Moon Griffon: How y'all are? Welcome back to the Moon Griffon show. Good to have you with us. 844-766-6607. LineOne Hotline and, of course, we got my guys on today with LineOne Hotline. We got Brandon Connolly - and Dean Simon is with us. Dean, how you doing' man?
Dean: Doing well, and it's "See-Mah'" Simon.
Moon Griffon: See-Mah'…well, you know I had to screw up one name! Brandon loves it, man. He loves when I do that! So, alright Dean, let's start with you. LineOne, let's talk about this company. Yes, sir?
Dean: Sure. First of all we are excited to be talking to your listeners about our company. But, as a business owner also, we all have systems that we have in our office that we need to maintain and service every day. One of them being the phone system. Technology has moved greatly and that's what we're bringing to the clients today. A new "hosted solution" to telecommunications, or business phone systems. What separates us from our competitors is that we are really focus based, so we can evaluate a customer's needs and come up with the proper solution for them.
Moon Griffon: Now, let me ask you a quick question. Y'all go in all the time and help people with their phone needs whether they are using what y'all got or not, because of your service department, and things of that nature. Is that correct?
Dean: We do still maintain some of the older phone systems because we need to help those customers along until they are ready to move to a hosted phone solution, because maybe they still have some life left on their older system. Most of our clients are moving to a hosted-base because there are so many other benefits to going to a hosted base phone system. Like controlling your telecommunications costs, getting some of the higher end features that maybe their older systems cannot do, like DID, which is Direct Inward Dial, or Call Record, or Internet faxing, or things like that.
Moon Griffon: Yeah. So, I know this about you because we've talked about it and ya'll are up to date on the latest technology and that's what your company can offer. You're not going back to the stone ages. You're moving forward with all you can do with a phone system.
Dean: Correct. You know, we are at the point where you never have to worry about upgrading your system. That's one of the major costs that businesses have, is that about every 7 to 10 years they had to either "fork-lift" upgrade their phone system, or they were doing a major upgrade to the system, which comes at a great cost. With our system, you just pay one monthly cost and we always make sure that the system is the latest and greatest.
Moon Griffon: Now Brandon, what do you do with LineOne?
Brandon: So, I basically oversee a lot of the technical aspects of what we are doing here. I am also involved in a lot of the sales meetings. You know, like Dean touched on, we've got quite a bit of experience in telecom in general. We have, our staff has, over 150 years of experience. We have seen the evolution of telephone systems from big, giant boxes on the wall with giant cables connected directly to all the phones. All the way to the point where we are now, with the phone systems hosted in the cloud. Using your existing infrastructure whether that's WiFi, or direct data cables, we are able to deploy your system at a much more cost effective way than you used to back in the day. But we bring that experience to the table to help make sure that we're making this system function like it should for our customers. We're not just deploying the equipment and then expecting them to work around it.
Moon Griffon: But guys, 150 years of experience with your workers is phenomenal. Y'all understand what it used to be, where it's at now, and where it's headed to. And this is what I would tell people, if you're out there and you're listening to Dean and Brandon right now, with LineOne, you need to give these people a call or go to the website and check them out. I'm going to tell you, if you're listening to me, and listening to this program - I know in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, and Arkansas – Dean, you've got to tell people that you guys can go anywhere and get them taken care of with a phone system. Y'all literally can go anywhere.
Dean: That is correct. We have deployed our system throughout the United States and we even went to the Virgin Islands and deployed a system there.
Moon Griffon: Yeah, but that's just an awesome thing to know. A Louisiana company, that's spreading out, working, and helping people every day. Now it's like anything else. If you're here, you want to do a lot of work here, but there are people in Mississippi, for instance, that you can go and...I'm taking it that you guys, and y'all are going to have to talk a little about this, is it everybody that's a customer for y'all? Just companies? Just big companies? How does that work?
Dean: Yeah, we can handle a start-up company that is maybe just starting off with one or two phones, to multi-location companies like some of our customers are community banks, or car dealerships, or tractor dealerships that have multiple locations throughout our state, or throughout the south. But we've deployed systems again, throughout the whole country. It doesn't matter if you're starting off real small or you are a multi-location organization, we can assist you.
Moon Griffon: Yeah. By the way, let's talk a little about the website, Brandon and Dean. If you go to the website, move us around your website a little bit. Do you have a place where people can ask questions? Do you have questions already answered on there? Is it a pretty simple website for people to go to? Would you rather people go to the website or call y'all first? Talk a little about what y'all like for people to do that you can help service them really, really well.
Brandon: The Line. One website is a good place for them to go to get some basic information but we really like to interact with our customers and our perspective customers. There is a lot of information on there. They can also put together their own quote there. But we take a lot of pride in meeting with our clients, figuring out what their "pain points" are, and then helping them come up with a solution for that. There's a lot more to it than just going out and getting your phones and putting it on your desk and making calls out. We want to make sure that their call flow is setup well. We want to make sure that their customer's experience when they are calling in is a great experience. We're very much interested in helping our clients strengthen their brand with their clients.
Moon Griffon: Dean, I noticed this the few times we got a chance to visit and talk, and Brandon, we met him too, is the same way. You guys are very personable and this is what y'all love to do. And I always suggest, I love to go see my customers too, and visit with them because it's a great relationship. And I would highly suggest if they really want to look at a phone system and be progressive and up-to-date, they need to sit down with you guys. Because y'all make them feel great about what they are going to be purchasing and make them feel good that you are going to service them.
Dean: That's correct. Not just at time of sale, but we keep an ongoing conversation with our customers so when they need support, or they need to make changes to their phone system, we don't outsource our support. You aren't going to be calling into another country where maybe the dialect will be hard to understand. You are talking to someone local here in Louisiana. And then if your company is growing and you need some advice on telecommunication and how you are going to open up that new branch, or maybe get a phone number or 800 number for a new market, where you don't even have a presence yet, and need the number to start your marketing. We can assist with all that.
Moon Griffon: Wow. That's what I'm saying, it's kind of a one stop shop place. They can come to y'all for all of their needs dealing with the technology and the phone system and everything else. That's why I'm saying, you got your website and the website's important for people to find you. But I'm suggesting that people really get to know y'all because, just like, when we met, Dean, you wanted to say, "Hey Moon, let's meet periodically." Even something like advertising you want to make sure you're on the same page. I knew that from Day 1. I said, these guys are really something special and your company is, as well. That's why I am proud of you guys at LineOne. It's Line. One and is real simple for people to find.
Dean: That's correct.
Moon Griffon: Yeah.
Brandon: I want to touch on one other thing just to make sure. We talked about this being a hosted phone system and I think for a lot of people that really makes sense. But really, what it is, is a single source for everything that you need for your telecom. So we provide the equipment, the support, the service, all of your phone numbers we can bring over to our service. So you no longer have to deal with the big carriers that you are constantly having issues fighting support, getting in touch with somebody; we take over the whole thing. We become your single point of contact for everything that you need with your business phone system.
Moon Griffon: I tell you what. I'm glad you brought that up because that is one of the things that Dean told me when we first met. He said, "Let us handle it for you. You pay us to handle it, and we're going to handle it. If we find a problem we are going to know it before you do sometimes." Because you guys are up to date like that. It's just a great company. I know people, I've met people, y'all have introduced me to people that use your system, and they are really, really happy about what you're doing but they are really happy about the service. You guys are on top of it, and we appreciate you. What's the website again guys?
Brandon: Website is Line.One.
Moon Griffon: Boy - that makes it simple.
Brandon: Super simple
Moon Griffon: Alright, Brandon and Dean, thanks to both of y'all. We look forward to visiting with y'all in the weeks and months to come.
Dean: Thanks for having us.
Brandon: Thanks, Moon. We appreciate it.
Moon Griffon: Hey guys, we'll do it again. A lot of fun. Thank y'all. Love talking about Louisiana companies and y'all are a good company. Line.One. Line.One. Check them out. Call these guys, you're going to be impressed. You're going to be very, very, VERY impressed. Alright, that's going to wrap up. We'll see you next week. Like I said, the next three Friday's I'm going to be gone but back on Monday and looking forward to it. Don't forget – wear your mask, folks. Wear it in your house, wear it when you sleep, wear it when you go to the bathroom. WEAR THAT MASK…or you'll die. We'll take a break for the weekend. See you Monday.
